We have many Ministries at Cabot United Methodist Church. Some of them are listed below.

The Child Development Center (CDC) is a weekday children's ministry of the Cabot United Methodist Church (CUMC). The CUMC-CDC has its roots in a church sponsored "Mother's Day Out" Program, which began in the early 1980's. The program grew and in the fall of 1992, the "Child Development Center" was established as a child care center, providing both part time and full time care. The CUMC-CDC is licensed by the Arkansas Dept. of Human Services (AR-DHS). We are also Arkansas Quality Accredited (we are one of 10 programs in Lonoke County that has received this designation).

The Cabot United Methodist Church Food Pantry is a ministry of our church which serves residents of Lonoke County who are in need of food.  The food pantry is open every Tuesday and Thursday to serve the Lonoke County residents.  Food Pantry volunteers pick up food at the Arkansas Rice Depot, Food Bank and area grocery stores, as well as stocking the shelves of the pantry and waiting on the clients each week.  The Food Pantry also sponsors several churchwide canned food drives.  "Can the Preacher" each October, "Give It Up for Lent", and "Christmas in July".

Ozark Mission Project has been a long time mission of the youth of Cabot United Methodist Church.  Ozark Mission Project (OMP) camps are held in different locations around our state each summer.  Our youth may travel to another community, stay in an area church or camp and work in that community for the week.  Cabot United Methodist Church also hosts OMP camps.  Campers from other communities come to our church and stay in our facilities while working in this area.  Jobs include scraping and painting homes, building wheelchair ramps, home repairs, yard work and more.  Many of the groups have an opportunity to get to know their "neighbor" and have an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them through lunchtime devotions.

Men @ Work is a men's ministry at CUMC which helps those in our community by doing yard work and minor home repair.  Men @ Work recently built a wheelchair ramp for a family with a handicapped child and has done some construction for "A Women's Place", the Cabot pregnancy center.  This is a new ministry of Cabot United Methodist Church which has already made a great impact in our community.

The Arkansas United Methodist Conference Ingathering is held on a Saturday in November each year.  The Ingathering is an event held at the Arkansas Rice Depot, where United Methodists from all over the state come together to bring items they have collected for needy families and disaster relief.  Cabot United Methodist Church participates in this event each year by collecting and putting together "Kits" of the needed supplies and delivering them to the Arkansas Rice Depot on that Saturday in November.
