Cabot UMC Food Pantry

The Cabot UMC Food Pantry is a ministry of love and mercy for our community. It is maintained and operated by church volunteers. Anyone living in the Cabot School District in need of food assistance is invited to come be a recipient of this ministry. Starting on July 1, 2020, the Food Pantry will ONLY be open on Tuesday mornings from 9:00AM – 12:00PM.  It is located within the Family Life Center (the double doors on the left side of the church). The Food Pantry is closed on any Tuesday that falls on a holiday.

To help ensure that as many needs as possible are met, assistance may only be requested once every month. Persons seeking assistance need to bring a photo ID, proof of address (if different from photo ID: utility bill, electric bill, etc.), and a list of all those residing within their household. The Cabot United Methodist Church Food Pantry is funded and stocked by the Arkansas Rice Depot, the Arkansas Food Bank, local area
grocery stores, multiple food drives within the Cabot community, and with donations from church members
and members of the community.

We are always looking for new team members to help organize inventory, stock shelves, pick up our order from the Food Bank twice a month and deliver it to the church, and be present during operating hours for this crucial community ministry. Please contact the church office at 501-843-3541 with any questions or to see how you can get plugged in to help with this growing ministry.
